Well, everyone it was a hard-fought game. Maybe not our best effort but we can’t take anything away from our Bills. They played an amazing season! Doing things that haven’t been done in 25 years. We finished with a 13-3 record, 1st place in the AFC East, we won the wild card round and the divisional round, and we had 5 pro bowlers this season.
Some other accolades to take away from this season are Josh Allen winning 4x AFC Offensive player of the week and 2x AFC offensive player of the month. Stefon Diggs also was named Offensive player of the week once. Jerry Hughes and A.J. Klein each won an AFC Defensive player of the week as well. Another keynote that we the fans and the Bills have to look forward to next season is the chemistry of Diggs and Allen. Josh Allen has improved each and every season in every category, his numbers continue to grow and he continues to learn more and more each and every game. He’s definitely the future of not just the Bills but of the NFL. The offense this year was able to average over 30 points a game. Something that hasn’t been done in 20 plus years. There’s once again life here in Buffalo, NY. There is a lot to look forward to next year with this Bills team. One area that I’d like to see grow is the running back position. I’m a fan of Moss and Singletary, but Allen cant finish 200 yard less than out starting RB. There are a lot of big name RBs available this year and it would be nice to have a star come in and mentor our younger guys so they can also grow into more explosive backs as well. The Bills were able to pull off an 8-game win streak this year including the playoffs and it could have been a 12-game win streak, if not for our unfortunate game against the Cardinals.
Like I said before, there is so much to look forward to going into next season. Hopefully, we are allowed back at full capacity to support our Bills. The team is young and talented, great coaching staff and players that are willing to put it all on the line for a shot at the championship. Let's do it again next year Bills Mafia!
